Below, you'll find the KEK Amsterdam General Terms and Conditions. KEK Amsterdam is registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam under the No. 34375428. The company is located in Amsterdam (Betuwestraat 25, 1079 PR) with its registered office being in Naarden (Nikkelstraat 51-A, 1411 AH).
Dutch law applies to all KEK Amsterdam commercial activities. By placing an order with KEK Amsterdam, you automatically agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
The stated prices are in euros (including VAT). The prices exclude shipping costs. Shipping costs (within the Netherlands) are € 2.95 for orders under € 50. With an order above € 50, you enjoy free shipping. The shipping costs for Belgium are € 5.95. Free shipping to Belgium applies to all orders above € 60. KEK Amsterdam reserves the right to change prices at any time.
Shipping and delivery times
As we work with different suppliers, our wallpaper has different delivery times. The delivery time of non-woven wallpaper that we use to produce photo and pattern wallpaper, wallpaper circles and murals (165 gm) is 3-8 working days. Generally, we do not have this wallpaper in stock. Our supplier produces the wallpaper every Tuesday and Wednesday. If you place your order on Wednesday before 10:00, your order will be shipped on Friday the same week with PostNL. As soon as the package has left our office, you will receive a Tracking Number by email.
The delivery time of our gold wallpaper is 4-8 working days. We do not have this wallpaper in stock, and we do not produce it on a set day (unlike our regular non-woven wallpaper). Your order will be shipped directly from the supplier with DPD service. As soon as the package is dispatched, you will receive a Tracking Number by email.
The wallpaper from the Hotel Chique collection is in stock. We ship orders three days a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Therefore, the delivery time is 2-3 working days.
The delivery time for customised wallpaper can be slightly longer than for the standard wallpaper rolls. It partly depends on the desired dimensions and the type of wallpaper. We can usually deliver a customised product within a week.
Usually, we have all wall stickers in stock, except for the XL stickers from Miffy and Jip & Janneke. If the wall sticker you want to order is in stock, it will be sent within 2 working days (we have fixed shipping days on Monday, Wednesday and Friday). If a wall sticker is not in stock, it can take up to two weeks to produce and ship it. In the unlikely event that the delivery time is longer than stated above, we will inform you in time.
KEK Amsterdam will start working on your order after we receive your payment. We offer various payment methods. Payments for customised wallpaper must be transferred in advance by a bank transfer to our bank account number NL61 INGB 0005082207. Please add to the payment description 'customised wallpaper' and your name.
KEK Amsterdam respects its customers' privacy and will never disclose personal data to third parties unless strictly necessary. For example, when the ordered product must be sent directly from our supplier at the customer's express request. KEK Amsterdam uses the services of Mollie B.V., a payment service provider. KEK Amsterdam cannot be held liable in any way for possible damage to a wall or other surface during, after or as a result of the application or removal of a KEK Amsterdam product. Furthermore, KEK Amsterdam cannot be held liable in any way for possible costs incurred by a professional wallpaper company or an independent wallpaperer hired by the customer for the application of this wallpaper.
As a consumer, you always have the right to return your order within 30 days after receiving your package without stating reasons. The return address is: KEK Amsterdam, Returns Department, Nikkelstraat 51-A, 1411 AH Naarden, the Netherlands. We request that you enclose the packing slip with your package or a note with your name and account number (IBAN). We will refund the purchase amount to you within a week after receiving the products in good condition. Returning a product is at the customer's' own cost. The right to return does not apply to customised wallpaper orders, as this product is bespoke and produced specially for you.
We work with great suppliers who, like us, always strive for the best quality and service. Nevertheless, on rare occasions, something could go wrong during the production or packaging process. Send us as soon as possible (within 3 days) an email with a description of your complaint, plus a few clear photos (preferably a close-up and a full-size photo). Then we can properly assess your complaint and forward the issue to the relevant supplier. If a production error is established, we will send you a new product as soon as possible. In the unlikely event of a problem during the product application (by yourself or a wallpaper professional), we will discuss a suitable solution or offer you the same product with a discount.
